Spring clean up

It was time to take charge. "as you can tell in the pic, we were very serious"
My aunts thankfully planed a day for the family to bring my grandparents yard back to it's original beauty. I worked along side my aunts, grandparents, uncles, cousins and sis-in law to get the job done. What a great way to bring back the unity in our family after so many distractions.
Here is my loving Grandma who made sure we were all well fed. We never have to worry about getting hungry with her around. Thanks Grandma...
We raked and raked and raked. I think that was main part of most of our day.
Pruning, gardening, mowing, fixing up my Grandmas green house, and much more went into our long day before we could call it quits.
I'm sure Grandma and Grandpa are so thankful for everything we did. So on behalf of them, thank you all for your dedication and blisters. These are day's I never forget.
When we all grow up and move onto our own families, we very often forget about the ones who have nurtured us in our childhood years. When I have a chance to bring that back, I jump at it because it brings back so many great memories and laughter. I am so lucky to have my extended family live so close to me and make an effort to keep that family alive in all of us. Thank you to every person in my family who was there in my world. I am grateful for every one of you. "and you know who you are"

Wow Candy what a great family you guys are, I'm sure your Grandparents are so thankful for you. It's amazing how we are brought together as family when there is an important need, a great example of God's love.
Love you!
