Friendship

God has blessed me with many friends.
In the Bible the meaning for friend is a person who loves and respects another person.
Each person you see here has helped me grow into the person I am today and I am so thankful for that.
(There are many more)
I am so thankful for each and every one of them.
When I read Philippians 1:3-11 took the words right out of my mouth so I thought I would share them with you today.

I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart: for weather I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share Gods grace with me. God can testify how I long for all of you with the effection of Christ Jesus.
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ- to the glory and praise of God.

This prayer goes out to all of you who read this. I know that God has a plan for each and every one of you weather you think you are big or small. God wants to use all of us. I pray that you will seek Gods love daily and that you will feel Gods grace in you.

It's a great thing to be reminded to think about how grateful we should be for our friends - thanks.

My favourite "friend" Bible quote is:

"Just as iron sharpens iron, friends sharpen the minds of each other" Prov 27:17

The Broken man

I'm so glad you have visited my blog, and now I too can call you friend.

I love this passage of Scripture ~~ In fact my Tuesday Bible Study memorized this for one of our memory works.
